Job Description of Warehouse Assistant:

The efficient functioning of FedEx warehouse operations is reliant upon the Warehouse Assistant. Their role is integral to managing goods movements, storage, and dispatches, which involve loading and unloading shipments, sorting packages, and ensuring accurate documentation and storage. Their support ensures timely and efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Assistant:

• The function of moving packages onto and off of delivery trucks and trailers.
• Monitor stock levels and promptly restock items as necessary to avoid shortages.
• Safeguarding packages during shipment requires an attentive preparation process that includes labeling, sealing, and securing them with proper materials.
• Employ specialized warehouse machinery, such as Hand Trucks and Pallet Jacks, to relocate materials with ease.
• Conduct inventory assessments and sustain detailed logs of imported and exported products
• Prioritize safety in the warehouse by thoroughly cleaning and organizing the space to eliminate hazards.
• Facilitate the efficient flow of goods through shipping and receiving channels.

Qualifications of Warehouse Assistant:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
